January 2010

To My Clients, Friends, Associates,
and Future Clients:

From all indications everyone was glad to see 2009 come to an end. Although, according to some of my clients and business associates 2010 will not be a walk in the park. Regardless, we still have a lot to be thankful.

As you should know by now my newsletter is not a sales pitch for business but a tool that if use correctly can give you, the reader, helpful information on the latest in trade shows as well as just good business information. My database of readers have continued to grow, and at the present time my newsletter goes out to over 4,000 national and international business people who realize that trade shows if done correctly are the most cost effective ways of generating business opportunities. Having said this I wanted to start 2010 by asking some questions to my readers, and I want you to response directly to me at jhill@johnahillandassociates.com.

1. What other information would you like to read in my newsletter that will make it more interesting for you?

2. I have been asked to give a teleseminar series on trade shows. Would you be interested in this?

3. Would your company be interested in a “lunch and learn” presentation on Trade Show Marketing?

I look forward to hearing from you on this.

Some other events that took place in 2009 that should be of interest to you:

1. A group of concerned small business owners got together and formed the Long Island Advancement of Small Business. www.liasb.com

2. At the kick off Party we had over 260 people in attendance.

3. Over 35 small business owners joined that night.

4. We had the first “Meet the Board” that was well received by the members.

5. The December LIASB Seminar on Social Media had over 70 people in attendance and from the evaluation forms was rated excellent to outstanding!

6. The LIASB has a petition against the MTA Tax and a number of people have already signed to repeal this unfair tax.

The first LIASB event in 2010 will be a Seminar “Traditional Habits of Sales People and How to Avoid Them” will be on Tuesday, January 19, 2010 @ 5:00PM at the Sheraton Long island, 110 Motor Parkway, Hauppauge, New York

Thank you for your support in 2009 and I look forward to working with my clients, talking with prospects and spreading the word about the wonders of Trade Show Marketing in 2010.

To continued trade show success,
John Hill, Trade Show Coach - Business Consultant
